Ordination of New Leaders in Salford

On Sabbath 7th June 2025, Salford Seventh-day Adventist Church held a heartfelt ordination service, marking a significant milestone for several members. The church’s new minister, Pastor Romel Ricarte, has been focusing on the theme of the Holy Spirit in recent weeks—an emphasis that culminated in this special Sabbath, as individuals were consecrated to various roles within the church.

Led by the North England Conference Ministerial Secretary, Pastor Julian Kastrati, the service recognised the commitment of one elder, three deacons, and four deaconesses, as they were ordained to serve in leadership roles within the congregation.

The keynote message, delivered by Pastor Kastrati, was titled “A Promise with a Purpose” and was based on Acts 2:29–39. He emphasised the vital role of the Holy Spirit in fulfilling God’s promises and empowering believers to pursue their divine calling.

This service comes at a time when the Salford Adventist Church is preparing to launch a series of evangelistic activities and are actively seeking the power of the Holy Spirit to engage the local community and share the gospel message.

“Wonderful is the work the Lord designs to accomplish through His church, that His name may be glorified.” — Acts of the Apostles, pp. 12.2–13.1
