NEC Executive Committee Appoints New Departmental Directors
Pastors Pardon Chenjerai and Ian Philpott appointed to lead Family Ministries and Personal Ministries through the 2028 NEC Session.
The NEC Executive Committee has appointed Pastor Pardon Chenjerai as Family Ministries Director and Pastor Ian Philpott as Personal Ministries Director.
At its meeting on 28 September 2026, the North England Conference Executive Committee appointed two departmental directors to serve for the remainder of the current constitutional quinquennium, concluding at the NEC Session in 2028.
Pastor Pardon Chenjerai has been appointed Family Ministries Director. He currently serves the Northampton Central, Northampton Community and Northampton International District of Churches.
Pastor Ian Philpott has been appointed Personal Ministries Director. He currently serves the West Bromwich, Breath of Life, Smethwick, Walsall and Wednesbury District of Churches.
These appointments follow the departure of the previous departmental directors as they continue their ministry in new fields of service.
We thank Pastor Dan Majaducon and Pastor John Francis for their faithful service to the NEC. Pastor Majaducon has accepted a call to serve within the Southeastern Conference in Florida, USA, while Pastor Francis, who has served as Family Ministries Director since 2021, will serve at the British Union Conference as Director of Family Ministries and Children’s Ministries. We wish them and their families God’s continued blessings in their new roles.
We congratulate Pastor Chenjerai and Pastor Philpott on their appointments and thank them for their willingness to serve the wider mission of the North England Conference.
