Newcastle SDA Church Community Day: Serving, Connecting and Building Relationships
On 28 June 2026, Newcastle SDA Church welcomed members of the local community for a special Community Day focused on service, health, fellowship, and outreach.
Approximately 38 non-Adventist visitors attended the event, benefiting from free health checks, health advice, children's activities, and practical community support. The church's Personal Ministries team also visited homes in the surrounding area, sharing Christian literature, offering encouragement, and inviting residents to connect with the church.
The event was attended by a local councillor, who expressed interest in partnering with the church to support future initiatives that serve the local community.
One of the most encouraging outcomes has been the relationships that have continued beyond the event. Ralph, one of the community visitors, has since attended Sabbath worship for two consecutive weeks.
Newcastle SDA Church is grateful to God for the opportunity to serve beyond its walls, build meaningful relationships, and demonstrate Christ's love in practical ways. We pray that the seeds planted through this initiative will continue to grow and draw others closer to Him.
