Celebrating New Chapters: Leadership Transitions Across the NEC
The North England Conference announces key leadership transitions following the British Union Conference Session, including Pastor Emanuel Bran's election as BUC Executive Secretary, Pastor Obi Iheoma's appointment as Scottish Mission President, Pastor Dan Majaducon's call to the Southeastern Conference in Florida, and Michael Agyei-Asare's appointment as CFO of Hope Channel Canada.
Following the recent British Union Conference Session, we're celebrating some wonderful news for several members of our NEC family, as God calls them into new seasons of ministry and leadership.
Pastor Emanuel Bran: Executive Secretary, British Union Conference
Congratulations to Pastor Emanuel Bran on his election as Executive Secretary of the British Union Conference. Since taking on the same role here at the NEC in September 2021, Emanuel has served our Conference with dedication, wisdom and spiritual leadership. We're so grateful for everything he's poured into the life and mission of the NEC, and we pray God's richest blessing over him as he steps into this important Union wide role.
Pastor Obinnaya (Obi) Iheoma: President, Scottish Mission
Congratulations also to Pastor Obi Iheoma on his election as President of the Scottish Mission. Obi's journey has come full circle. He completed his ministerial internship in the Scottish Mission after being called there in 2010, before returning to the NEC in 2013, where he was later ordained. Throughout his ministry, Obi has served the church with humility, passion and commitment. We thank God for his years of dedicated service and wish him and his family every blessing as this new chapter begins.
Pastor Dan Majaducon: Southeastern Conference, Florida, USA
Pastor Dan Majaducon has accepted a call to serve as a pastor within the Southeastern Conference in Florida, USA, subject to the completion of the necessary immigration and visa requirements. Since joining the NEC, Dan has faithfully led our Personal Ministries, Church Growth and Church Plant Department with real passion and dedication. We thank him for his heart for evangelism, discipleship and church growth, and we pray God will continue to bless his ministry in this new field of service.
Michael Kwasi Agyei-Asare: CFO, Hope Channel Canada
Michael Kwasi Agyei-Asare has accepted a call to serve as Chief Financial Officer of Hope Channel Canada, a ministry of the Canadian Union Conference. Michael has faithfully served as Treasurer of the NEC since September 2021, and we're so grateful for his leadership, commitment and dedicated service to our Conference and its mission. We wish Michael, Serena and their family God's richest blessings as they begin this exciting new chapter of ministry.
A Season of Transition, A Season of Prayer
These moves mark significant milestones in the lives and ministries of Emanuel, Obi, Dan and Michael. While we'll miss having them close by, we rejoice that God continues to lead His servants into new opportunities for ministry and leadership.
