Teens & Youth Month at MSAC - March 2026

The month of March was dedicated to the Teens and Youth of MSAC. It was filled with spiritual upliftment, practical admonition, and an abundance of love and care for our young people. The month featured several key events, including Teens Day, the Youth and Teens Week of Prayer, and concluded with Global Youth Day.

March 14th was set aside as Teens Day, providing a wonderful opportunity for our teens to actively participate. Many also invited their non-Adventist friends to join the service, making it a truly inclusive and welcoming event. Our guest speaker, Sis Preethy Christopher (NEC Executive Secretary Assistant, HR and Health & Safety), delivered a powerful sermon titled “Am I Enough?”, which deeply resonated with the teens. We look forward to hosting more such meaningful events tailored specifically for the teens of MSAC.

From March 15th to 20th, MSAC held its Youth and Teens Week of Prayer. The sessions were led by Eld Sanjay Sathe (Carmarthen SDA Church) and concluded by Sis Sneha Kandane from MSAC. The theme, “Integrity: Beyond the Mask,” was thoughtfully chosen to encourage young people to practise unwavering integrity, especially in these challenging times. Each day focused on a different Bible character, drawing valuable lessons from their lives, particularly in relation to integrity.

Global Youth Day on March 21st, 2026, was a special highlight for MSAC. We were privileged to have our NEC President, Pr/Dr Steve Palmer, as our guest speaker. The day also included the much-anticipated elder ordination of Eld John Chacko, conducted by Pr Palmer. The programme was marked by enthusiastic participation from the youth during both Sabbath School and Divine Service, and our church was blessed with the presence of friends and families who visited from near and far.

The sermon, “Is Your God Able?”, was directed towards the youth, addressing the challenges they face today while drawing inspiration from the Bible. It strengthened our faith and reminded us of the greatness of the God we serve. In the afternoon, following a potluck fellowship meal, Pr Palmer held an engaging session with the youth on “Ethical Assumptions.” This interactive discussion reinforced our core beliefs and values while encouraging thoughtful reflection.

Overall, the entire month was dedicated to uplifting and empowering the young people of our church. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Pastoral and Diaconate teams, the Media Ministry, and the entire church for ensuring the smooth running of these events. The youth are truly the future of the church, and we pray that God will bless them and use them mightily in His ministry for His glory.

Amen.
