New NEC Headquarters

The North England Conference is entering a new season of mission and service. After much prayer, careful planning, and collective discernment, the Conference is preparing to relocate to a new headquarters located at Sherwood Business Park in Nottinghamshire. This milestone marks an important and hopeful step forward in our shared journey of faith, growth, and purpose.

For more than a century, 22 Zulla Road has been our home, a place where leaders and staff have faithfully worked together to support churches and members across the North England Conference. We give thanks to God for all that has been accomplished there. However, through prayerful reflection and practical assessment, it became clear that the time had come to provide a healthier, more suitable base for ministry, one that meets the needs of today and supports the mission of tomorrow.

Following the recommendation of the Plans Committee at the 2024 Conference Session, and through the diligent work of the Building Committee under the oversight of the Executive Committee, the Conference has now completed the purchase of a new headquarters building. This follows earlier explorations, including Asher House in Ripley, which, though not the right long-term solution, helped clarify our vision and sharpen our focus for what was truly needed.

This new headquarters is more than an office location. It is envisioned as a mission hub, a space where ministries are resourced, leaders are equipped, collaboration is strengthened, and the work of the Church can flourish for years to come. As we step into this new chapter, we do so with gratitude for God's leading, confidence in His provision, and trust that "He who began a good work will carry it on to completion" (Philippians 1:6).

This page will continue to develop as plans for the new Conference headquarters progress. Over the coming months, we’ll be sharing further updates, including:

  • Key milestones and a project timeline

  • Plans for the use of the new space

  • Information about the transition and move-in period

  • Opportunities to engage, pray, and journey with us along the way

We’re committed to keeping churches and members informed as this next chapter unfolds.

Please check back regularly as new information is added.

From helping us name key areas of the building to showcasing the creativity of our children and young people, there are two ways to take part. Entries are open now, and both competitions close on 23 October 2026.
