The North England Conference is seeking a highly organised and professional Administrative Coordinator to support the effective day-to-day operations of the office. This key front-facing role combines reception responsibilities with administrative support across multiple departments, ensuring a welcoming, efficient, and well-coordinated environment.

About the Role

The North England Conference is seeking a highly organised and professional Administrative Coordinator to support the smooth day-to-day running of the office.

This is a key front-facing role, combining reception duties with administrative support across departments. As the first point of contact for visitors and callers, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming and efficient environment while supporting the wider work of the Conference.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for visitors, calls, and enquiries

  • Manage incoming calls and direct them appropriately

  • Provide administrative support across multiple departments

  • Coordinate meetings, appointments, and documentation

  • Manage incoming and outgoing post and correspondence

  • Order and monitor office supplies (including refreshments)

  • Maintain a clean, organised, and professional reception area

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Professional, approachable, and service-oriented

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail

  • Confident in communication, with excellent telephone etiquette

  • Proactive, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks

  • Experienced in administrative or office-based roles

  • Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Faith Requirement

This role requires the post-holder to be a baptised and practising member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, aligned with its mission and values.
(This is an Occupational Requirement in accordance with the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9.)
