Connected Leadership 2025 - Members

Joining together, the Treasury, Ministerial and Youth departments of the North England Conference are excited to invite you to our 3rd Connected Leadership Conference — a transformative weekend designed to equip and inspire local church leaders as we prepare for 2026.

This year’s theme, “A Cut Above”, calls us to rise higher in our service, character and commitment to Christ and His Church.

This conference is especially designed for:

• Local Church Treasurers (attendance strongly encouraged)

• Local Church Elders

• Local Church Deacons & Deaconesses

• Local Church Youth Leaders

As we are in the nomination season at our various churches, our goal is to help leaders grow intentionally by deepening their connection with God, strengthening the links between their local church and the wider community, and building meaningful relationships with one another.

This event is for those who will be new to their role, are considering serving, or are continuing in their current position. Across the weekend, a variety of interactive workshops and training sessions will equip attendees with the tools, knowledge and confidence they need to serve effectively in their leadership roles.

Unfortunately, Dr Phillip Baptiste will no longer be joining us this year. However, we are pleased to announce that we will be welcoming two dynamic speakers to this year’s conference. Our main speaker, Pastor Fredrick Russell, is no stranger to the NEC. The former President of the Allegheny West Conference and past Lead Pastor of the Berean Church in Atlanta, Georgia, Pastor Russell will once again inspire and challenge us through his powerful messages.

We are also delighted to share that James Winegardner, President of Adventist Risk Management (ARM) at the General Conference, will be joining us over the weekend as our plenary speaker, alongside various other leaders and trainers from across the British Isles.

Updated Speakers:

• Pastor Fredrick Russell, former President of the Allegheny West Conference and past Lead Pastor of the Berean Church in Atlanta, Georgia, will be joining us as our main speaker.

• James Winegardner, President and CEO of Adventist Risk Management (ARM) at the General Conference, will be joining us as our plenary speaker.

• Plus various presenters and trainers from across the BUC

• Single Room: £210 per person

• Double Room: £180 per person

• Twin Room: £180 per person
