About Juljan Kastrati

Julian Kastrati is a founding member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Albania (1992) and one of the first two Albanian pastors. He started full-time employment with the Adventist Church thirty years ago (July 1993) and has since served in various church-planting, evangelistic, pastoral, and administrative positions; mostly in the Albanian Mission and Adriatic Union Conference.

Before becoming the North England Conference (NEC) Ministerial Association Secretary (June 2023), Julian served as Ministerial Field Secretary for the Northwest of England (NEC Area 2) and District Pastor for three churches in Greater Manchester and one church plant in Cheshire.

Julian’s heart beats for outreach and the relevancy of “the everlasting gospel” (Rev. 14:6) in increasingly post-Christian, secularised societies. He strives to encourage and empower others, prioritises heart-to-heart conversations and believes strongly in pastoral care, ministry development, team leadership and friendship evangelism.

Julian’s graduate and post-graduate studies – BA (Hons) in Biblical & Pastoral Studies and MA in Theological Studies – took place at Newbold College of Higher Education, with both degrees validated by the Open University. At Newbold, he met his spouse, Dr Beatrice Kastrati (the current NEC Director for Health, Community Services and Possibility Ministries), who has also recently been appointed the coordinator of the Ministerial Spouses Association. God has blessed the Kastratis with one daughter called Albulena.
