Joe Philpott began serving as a pastor within the North of England in 2018 before the invitation to lead the Communications & Media Department at the North England Conference (NEC) in 2021.
Having studied at Newbold College of Higher Education (NCoHE), he holds a BA in Biblical and Pastoral Studies and an MA in Theology from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David. Previous roles have seen him involved in the Marketing & Communications department at NCoHE and managing many for-profit and non-profit organisations' marketing efforts.
Whilst passionate about the gospel and leading people into a relationship with Jesus, Joe has a passion for technology and media. His goal is to see modern technology and media embraced in local churches as they share the gospel in their part of the UK.
His other interests include youth ministry, with which he served on the NEC Youth Advisory for 11 years. Whether leading bible studies or helping behind the scenes at conferences, he's eager to engage Gen Y and Gen Z in meaningful ways.
Joe is married to Nordia, a psychotherapist who's passionate about supporting people with their mental health, and he has one daughter, Keira.
