On Sabbath 3rd August, Warrington Seventh-day Adventist Church celebrated a joyous baptismal service for three individuals, officiated by Pastor Romel Ricarte.

Elder Andrew Rock from Reading Seventh-day Adventist Church was present to support and vouch for Ayoub Ghaffary, who is from Iran. Elder Rock, who leads a ministry for refugees, shared how this work has led to the baptism of six Iranians, including Ayoub. He offered a heartfelt testimony about the journey of imparting Bible truths to Ayoub. Together with Deon and Dale Zimunya, who had completed baptismal lessons with Pastor Romel, they were baptised on this special Sabbath.

Warrington Church warmly welcomed and congratulated the new members as they demonstrated their commitment to Jesus Christ by passing through the watery grave, symbolising their new birth in Christ. The church pledged to nurture these three individuals, recognising the significant decision they have made.

The sermon on prayer during the service emphasised the church's dedication to encouraging and supporting one another in prayer, with a particular focus on these new members.
