3 Baptised on the Idyllic Beaches of Anglesey

Elder Edwin Abacan

On Sabbath 8th July, three souls publicly declared their commitment to follow in the footsteps of Jesus Christ on a beautiful day at Anglesey, North Wales. This memorable occasion was presided by Pastor Romel Ricarte of Knowsley Church Plant, which was the conclusion of the unconventional, intensive Bible Studies led by Pastor Ricarte, who would often study with the candidates before playing tennis with them.

Lisa Jacobs, Michael Hopewell, and Ashley Nyarashe chose to be baptised on the idyllic beaches of Anglesey. All doubts and uncertainties about the weather faded to give way to a picturesque sunny day made perfect for the occasion.

The baptism ceremony became the centre of attention as those on the beach, ramblers, and the residents of a nearby caravan site stopped to witness the "never before seen" moment as described by onlookers.

Members of Knowsley Church Plant and brethren from Adventist churches in Warrington, Liverpool and Manchester supported this special occasion. The candidate's non-Adventist family members were also in attendance. It was a highly spiritual and emotional day for all.

3 John 1:4 says, "I have no greater joy than this, to hear of my children walking in the truth." May God's continuous leading and guidance be with the newly baptised individuals.
