About Us
Hope for Birmingham is more than just a project—it’s a movement to bring hope, healing, and faith-based support to individuals and families across our city
How It Began
Hope for Birmingham officially launched in June 2025 as a united outreach effort by 19 Seventh-day Adventist churches across the West Midlands, in partnership with Streams of Light International—a global Christian publishing and evangelism ministry based in Tennessee, USA.
At the heart of this movement is a desire to share the life-changing message of The Great Controversy—a powerful book that sheds light on the turmoil in our world and points readers to lasting peace, purpose, and faith in Jesus Christ.
Our Purpose
In a time marked by anxiety, grief, and uncertainty, Hope for Birmingham exists to point people back to the true source of hope—Jesus. Our mission is to:
Distribute truth-filled literature free of charge
Support healthier lifestyles through practical advice and resources
Offer prayer and spiritual encouragement to those in need
Provide free Bible studies and other faith-building materials
Connect individuals with local churches, support networks, and friendship groups
Bring hope to every street, every home, and every heart
