What is Men’s Ministry?
Men’s Ministry is a calling within the church, a focused effort to reach, support, and disciple men so that their lives are transformed:
Grow in their relationship to God: It us about helping men grow in their relationship with God, not just knowing about Him, but walking with Him daily. When men are able to put God first, it can help transform so we can be better men.
Strengthen their families: As better men, there are opportunities to help us strengthen our families as husbands, fathers, sons, and brothers.
Serve (at church and in their communities): Encouraging men to serve, in the church and in their wider communities. We can enrich the lives of people around us.
Key Elements
Spiritual Growth: Helping men deepen their walk with God through Bible study, prayer, and teaching.
Brotherhood & Support: Building friendships that encourage openness, honesty, and accountability.
Service & Outreach: Engaging men in service in both the church and wider community.
Leadership Development: Equipping men to lead in their homes, workplaces, and church
The Approach
Each church or community is different.
The first step is identifying what are the men’s needs.
The second step is to address those needs.
We encourage consistent and frequent meetups for men to gather in a safe space, talk about their needs, encourage discussion how to meet those needs. We encourage activities such as outdoor activities, indoor activities, and games.
