Spy Danger Pathfinder Honour

Spy Danger Pathfinder Honour

The purpose of this honour is not to teach Pathfinders their basic camping skills – it is to train them in how to recognise unsafe acts and conditions that can occur when camping. Pathfinders will learn to assess situations and make choices that keep them safe while allowing them to experience new things without unnecessary dangers. Risk management is about being smart, aware, and responsible.

The Spy Danger Pathfinder honour was developed by Adventist Risk Management and introduced at the 2024 International Pathfinder Camporee in Gillette, Wyoming.

Property Insurance

ARM have prepared four 3-minute videos on property insurance to help our institutions and churches better understand the policy. These videos cover:

  • Insurance coverage for rented locations and borrowed equipment – Many of our churches rent a place to worship on Sabbaths and may rely on equipment borrowed from church members, such as laptops, projectors, or musical instruments.

  • Vacancy provision on the property policy

  • Money and Securities coverage, which protects tithes and offerings.

  • Renting out our churches to other denominations.

You can watch the videos in the "Webinars and Videos" section.
